LINGUACULTURE is the peer-reviewed academic journal of the Centre for (Inter)cultural and (Inter)lingual Research of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, Romania. Our intention is to provide an appropriate platform for presenting, discussing and disseminating new concepts, theories and research findings related to a broad spectrum of topics. Contributors are encouraged to explore these various aspects in theory and practice and transcend traditional boundaries by interdisciplinary collaboration. This also involves the exploration of transcultural phenomena, redefined in such terms as linguistic and cultural identity, diversity, intercultural dynamism, cultural and linguistic translation, rewriting, hybridization, creolization, diaspora and virtual community. The journal is thematic and we welcome suggestions for forthcoming issues. This academic journal addresses specialists and doctoral students in the field of linguistics, literary theory and criticism, cultural anthropology, translation studies, theatre and film studies, language learning and teaching.
LINGUACULTURE is covered by several indexing services, including though not limited to: ERIH PLUS, DOAJ, EBSCO, CEJSH (The Central European Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities), CNKI Scholar (China National Knowledge Infrastructure), Google Scholar, J-Gate, JournalTOCs, ResearchGate, and WorldCat (OCLC).
